Our ​Mission Statement

The Mission of the AIDS Resource Group is to provide quality, specialized case management, HIV prevention education, and supportive services to people living with, at-risk for, or affected by HIV/AIDS. Furthermore, it is the goal of ARG to educate and empower the community to recognize and reduce the stigma associated with this disease.

We Provide Free Services in our Community, including:

  • Risk Reduction Supplies
  • Harm Reduction Supplies
  • Safer Sex Materials
  • Educational Presentations provided by trained staff.

We are grateful for our many funding resources, including:

  • Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority
  • Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis
  • Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS
  • National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable
  • Trinity United Methodist Church

The AIDS Resource Group was started in 1986 as a small group of concerned citizens providing HIV/AIDS awareness and support resources in the height of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The organization has since expanded to providing testing, counseling, harm reduction presentations, risk reduction kits, housing assistance, and more!

We currently serve 11 counties in southwestern Indiana, including:
