How Can I Help?
Without the time, energy and support of ARG's volunteers, our ability to provide services would be greatly hampered. These special individuals provide an endless amount of services to our clients.
* Conduct HIV/STI Prevention Education Presentations to local middle and high schools, UE, USI and IVY Tech
* Generously Provide Monetary and Food Donations
* Donate personal care items such as soap, deodorant, laundry detergent and toothpaste
* Transport Clients to Appointments
* Organize Food Drives
* Help Coordinate Special Events
* Assist with Administrative Responsibilities
* Provide Many, Many Hours of Service in Other Various Capacities
In addition, you can make your mark on a state level, too. By purchasing a “To Your Health” license plate when you renew each year, the proceeds will help to benefit the Indiana AIDS Fund. IAF is a generous supporter of HIV/AIDS education programs in southwestern Indiana, and has been integral in helping the AIDS Resource Group sustain their Youth Education Initiative and Direct Emergency Financial Assistance Program for many years. License plates can be purchased at any License Branch in Indiana. Also,would you want to remember a loved one lost to HIV/AIDS? The Indiana AIDS Memorial, funded by the Joseph F. Miller Foundation, is located in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN (northeast corner of section 90). For an order form for either of these worthwhile causes, please contact Stephen Everett at the Indiana AIDS Fund.
