AIDS Candlelight Memorial Slated for May 16th

The AIDS Resource Group will once again host the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Downtown Evansville on Sunday, May 16th from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The event will feature a speaker who has been impacted by HIV/AIDS and will highlight the need to continue the fight against stigma surrounding the disease. The service will also feature music, fellowship and a reception to follow. An offering will be taken to support ARG's Benevolent Fund. ARG will be hosting it's 18th Annual AIDS Walk on Saturday, October 2 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Start getting your teams together. Information regarding team registration, donation collection and committee involvement will be posted on May 3, 2010.
