Walk to Fight AIDS raises $25,000!
The AIDS Resource Group held its 17th Annual Walk to Fight AIDS on Saturday, October 17th at Garvin Park, securing donations of over $25,000, making this year's Walk the most successful in over five years. Despite a tepid economy and bleak outlook, ARG supporters from all over the Tri-State came together and showed what this cause means to them. This year saw many new faces as well as those familiar with the cause for many years. Once again, John Streetman took the honors of raising the most money (Individual) with $3,175 raised. He was awarded with UE Theatre season tickets and $40 in Roca Bar Gift Cards. Team AT&T, new to the Walk, raised the most money for a team with $681, which will be matched by AT&T Corporate. Someplace Else took the honors of most Walk Feet sold, selling 200 in just 3 weeks. Congratulations to all our award winners and thank you ALL for making this a wonderfully successful Walk! Keep in touch, as next year we plan on making some changes and getting more people involved to help raise even more money for client services!

First Annual Mardi Bras February 14th
Casino Aztar and the AIDS Resource Group are excited to announce “Mardi Bras”, a unique and colorful fundraiser with a Mardi Gras-themed style show and sale of lavishly decorated, artistically designed, and one-of-a-kind bras, bustiers, and corsets, created by local artists and worn by local models. The event will take place Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the Casino Aztar Conference Center in Downtown Evansville.
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, cash bar and live entertainment will be provided prior to the runway show, which begins promptly at 3:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased over the phone (by cash, check or credit card) or by purchasing online by clicking the "Donate" button at the top of this page. Tickets are $25 each. Please be sure to put "Mardi Bras" in the "Address 2" line of the online donation form. Tickets will be available for pick up at the office prior to the event or at the door.
